Christmas is a magical time of year with twinkling lights and fantastic decor. This picture is a prime example of how finely detailed ornaments can be and therefore deserve closer inspection. The level of camouflage this porcelain baby has is enough to convince us it’s always a good idea to take a few moments and admire Christmas trees with all their decoration from up close.
At first glance, you might even miss the glorious piece hanging on the tree or mistake it for a giant’s appendage like the original poster did. Let’s face it; it does look like a severed thumb. We guess this ornament is probably an old family heirloom and the paint’s simply faded over the years.
