We would not be surprised to know that Mcdonald’s received complaints from customers because of this design, especially from conservative individuals. The image appears to be of someone who is showing the backside part of their body. What made it even worse was the seasonal greeting on top of it.
Of course, in reality, the graphic is that of giant mittens being worn on two hands, accompanied by a holiday message. So people in charge of packaging, especially wholesome places like McDonald’s, should be extra careful. Going over the design once is not enough; they should be examined several more times by at least a dozen eyes.
