50 Celebrities Who Prove That Cheerleading Creates Superstars
The purpose of cheerleaders at sports games is to maintain, create and keep morale high, keep up a positive outlook, and entertain the crowd (when not being entertained by the game). The same could be said for our favorite celebrities, who we often look to for inspiration, advice, and life lessons.
So it almost makes sense that many celebrities were cheerleaders in school, giving them the basic performance skills they need as a foundation for their drama, acting, and stage shows. Here we have some celebrities and one former U.S. president who used cheerleading as a springboard to big careers.
Megan Fox
A lot of the women in this story are beautiful. But very few are able to top Megan Fox. Surprisingly, Fox says that she was bullied in high school and wasn’t very popular there either. She attributes this to her friends all being boys, and that rubbed people up the wrong way.
Some of this vitriol probably also came from the fact that she was a model from a young age, taking on jobs since the age of 14. It’s cheerleading and her dance and drama training that give her the tools to excel at acting. She is set to star in an upcoming film called Aurora.
