In 1964, Lulu signed with Decca Records and officially launched her career. Her rendition of “Shout” reached number 7 on the UK singles chart, and she kept creating new music.
As her reputation in the media soared, she began frequently appearing on the radio and television. Lulu has her only number-one single in the United Kingdom with Take That’s “Relight My Fire” (1993). But she has been honored with many accolades and remains active in her field.
