Since the ‘70s, Cassandra Peterson has become famous for portraying the dark, quirky, and beautiful Elvira, the Mistress of the Dark. That’s probably the reason why most people don’t recognize her in real life. In fairness, she could’ve just as easily had a career without it, as she looks amazing either way.
She’s 72 years old by now, and according to Elle, she takes her skincare tips from her drag queen friends. Clearly, we should all be paying more attention since whatever she’s been doing has worked its wonders. In 2021 she’s going to be publishing her autobiography called Yours Cruelly, Elvira.
